Accounting & back office

Outsourced accounting and back office in India

Cloud bookkeeping on Zoho Books, invoicing, receivables follow-up, reconciliations and monthly reporting — at a fraction of onshore cost.

The work, and where it runs

Bookkeeping runs on Zoho Books, in the cloud, on your instance. That matters more than it sounds: you are not waiting on a monthly file from someone else’s desktop, and you can open the ledger yourself on any day of the month.

The scope covers the recurring back-office cycle — recording transactions, raising and issuing invoices, following up receivables, reconciling bank and payment accounts, and closing the month with reporting you can act on.

Payroll and accounting both run on established cloud platforms with access controls, and data is handled in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — collected only for the purpose it was given for, access-restricted, and covered by confidentiality undertakings.

The natural next thing after payroll

Most clients do not start here. They start with one or two employees in India, and the finance work is small enough to absorb. Then the team is eight people, there are vendors and reimbursements and a local bank account, and the month-end close has quietly become someone’s second job.

That is the point at which this service earns its keep. The team already administering your payroll and statutory filings takes on the books as well, so the two are reconciled against each other rather than assembled separately and compared later.

Being based in Jharkhand rather than a metro is part of why the cost works. Lower operating costs, passed on to you.

Equipment and assets on the ground

Some back-office work needs someone physically in the country, and buying a laptop is the one that catches distributed teams out. Shipping hardware into India is slow, expensive and customs-exposed; expecting a new joiner to buy their own and expense it is neither.

We procure laptops and equipment in India on your behalf. The item is purchased locally, delivered to the employee, asset-tagged against them, and recovered at exit — so you have a register of what you own and where it is, rather than a reimbursement trail and a guess.

Group health insurance works the same way where you want it: arranged locally and billed at actuals as part of the monthly invoice.

Scoped rather than packaged

Pricing is scoped to what you actually need. A holding entity with a dozen transactions a month and an operating business with payroll, vendors and receivables are not the same job, and pricing them identically would mean one of you was overpaying.

We look at transaction volume, the number of accounts to reconcile and the reporting you need, and quote against that.
